You have chosen the most technologically advanced method for home purification. "TOMIES’s Ozonation" will eliminate/control bacteria & inactivate viruses, molds, odors, dust mites, allergens, and other microorganisms. The gas, Ozone, has long been used for purification of water in municipalities, and the commercial cleaning of fruits and vegetables. Through our technologically advanced method, we now employ pure Ozone to cleanse the atmosphere in your entire home, which includes any ducting and/or HVAC system. It is our aim to provide you with a home free of odors, bacteria, allergens, viruses, and mold contaminants. Although, the process normally takes 4-6 hours, the time allotted for purification depends on the severity or the problem. Please note the expected duration for your home as stated above.
The attached lists will assist you in preparation for the Ozonation process. This will allow for maximum results, and will contain all the necessary safety precautions.

Homeowner Checklist
- ________Evacuate All People
No one may be present during the treatment of your home. Remember to notify any potential temporary occupants (maids, housekeepers, caregivers, etc.) of the time, date and duration of our purification work. Special attention should be given to any children living in the house. They must be given an alternate location to go to should they come home early, or should the purification process be scheduled for a time they would normally return home.
- ________Remove Pets.
All pets must be removed for the duration of the treatment.
- ________Remove Sensitive Plants
If you have delicate plants, you must remove them from the area to be treated.
- ________Emergencies.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT ENTER THE HOUSE FOR ANY REASON DURING THE OZONATION PROCESS!
Your house will be closed and locked while the Ozone generators are operating and WARNING SIGNS will be posted on the doors. In the event of an emergency, contact us immediately at :

Indicate that it is urgent and we will be paged immediately. We will be available to enter your house.
- ________Completion.
Once the Ozone generators are shut down and removed, it will take approximately ½ hour to 1 hour (depending on the square footage of your home) to purge the air and bring the Ozone concentration down to a safe level. In order to do this, powerful fans are employed to purge the concentrated ozone level. We use an Ozone Sensor to measure the Ozone levels in all areas of the home, ensuring re-occupancy safety.
It is important to know that Ozone has a half-life of about 20 minutes. Upon completion of the treatment, you will smell a lingering fresh, clean aroma that may be present for 1-2 days.
- ________Special Problem Areas.
Please notify us prior to the scheduled treatment appointment of any special problem areas (i.e. concentrated pet odors, etc.) in order that we are prepared to give them special attention.
- ________Bedding.
Should you desire to treat your bedding while the house is being treated, remove all bedding from the mattresses, including the mattress pad or bed cover. Drape the bedding over chairs, doors, etc. so that the Ozone can penetrate all textiles, in order to kill all allergens and other microorganisms.
- ________Closets.
Open closet doors to their widest point to maximize Ozone circulation within the closet. Separate the hanging clothes as much as possible, to allow for better penetration. Remove all plastic coverings from dry-cleaning and garments.
- ________Drawers.
Open drawers and cupboards so all areas receive maximum exposure.
- ________Foods and Medications.
Make certain that all foods and medications are properly sealed and stored.
- ________Furnace Filters
For the best results, we recommend that filters be changed or at least cleaned.
- ________Oil Paintings
Insure all oil paintings that are not covered with glass are removed from the treatment area. You may also bag them with a plastic cover and place them in the garage or other secure area.
