Anthrax was our beginning. TOMI’s SteraMist (BIT®) aerosol was developed by a major U.S. Defense company for protection of the United States Homeland from an anthrax attack. Now that the technology has been perfected, TOMI Environmental Solutions is commercializing the six-log kill of our SteraMist (BIT®) spray for the use that it was first developed for – the elimination of biologicals.

Funded under grants from the Department of Defense and used by the United States Biological Combat Assessment System Program and The Airborne Warning and Control System Program. This same SteraMist (BIT®) green technology can now be used to prevent the spread of MRSA in your military barracks, gyms, mess halls, shower facilities, and eliminate HAI’s (Healthcare Associated Infections) from military hospitals and wards. It can decontaminate and clean military vehicles, aircraft, ships and other critical facilities. This portable unit can be used indoors or outdoors and gets a six-log kill of bacteria, mold spores, and viruses along with removing odors.

All of the world’s homelands are concerned about the possibility of a terrorist attack using a weaponized biological agent. Our 44 lb. portable shoot and spray aerosol mist unit will counter any biological attack and allow communities to reopen in a shorter time using TOMI’s SteraMist (BIT®) to decontaminate and sterilize. So remember the quote by George Washington, “there is nothing so likely to produce peace as to be well prepared to meet the enemy.” We must equip our first responders with TOMI’s technology in order to adequately protect our homelands or show the terrorist that we are prepared to protect.

Since the end of the cold war, the focus of civil defense has largely shifted from military attack to emergencies and disasters in general. The new concept is described by a number of terms, each of which has its own specific shade of meaning, such as crisis management, emergency management, emergency preparedness, contingency planning, emergency services, and civil protection. TOMI’s products should be the cornerstone of the civil defenses toolbox. Our fully equipped van can handle massive smoke damage from a large building fire by using our UV ozone generators to remove odor and carbon from the disaster site, to a bio-hazardous or chemical spill including a radioactive accident by using DeconGel. This product will quickly clean-up that accident. When the alarm goes out that a biological agent has been released in a train station, rapid transit or a building, TOMI’s portable SteraMist (BIT®) is the product to quickly clean up the indoor environment from that accident or terrorist attack.
